About Us
Hardwood flooring is a family business for the Christies. Robert Christie, Jordan’s father, learned the trade in 1964 in New York City. After getting married and moving to Kentucky, Robert continued to pursue his career in not only flooring but general carpentry as well.
In 1971 Robert began purchasing flooring and cabinet doors direct from a mill that opened in their town of Monticello, KY. He would travel three hours south to Nashville to sell them at the Flea Market on the last weekend of every month. Eventually he generated enough business to move his family to Bellevue, TN in 1986.
Jordan grew up helping his dad on jobs and learning the skills of the trade. After high school Jordan went to work in various fields of construction and eventually began his own custom hardwood flooring business in 2004. Over the years his business has grown and expanded to work with both new construction builders and developers as well as individual homeowners looking to add or refinish hardwood in their homes.
